Seclore Product Team1. Introducing Dynamic Watermarking for classified-only files (files that are classified but not protected).
- Users would now see a dynamic watermark for classified-only files (files that are classified but not protected) if configured by Global Security Admins.
- Dynamic watermark would appear on supported versions of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications when they’re classified with labels that have dynamic watermarking enabled in the Policy Server portal.
- Watermark content would appear according to the watermark configuration set by System Admins in the ‘Feature Configurations’ section.
- Dynamic watermark for classified and protected files would continue to work as it does for only protected files.
2. Introducing Bulk Classification – automatic classification and protection of files in bulk.
- Admins can now automatically classify and protect (optional) all files in a folder (network folder or local Windows folder).
- Admins need to use a .bat file with information such as the folder path, label ID, whether protection policy should be applied, etc.
- .bat files can be executed with tools like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Active Directory (AD).
- Admins can also choose to reclassify already classified files with a different label along with a justification.
3. Introducing an option to configure email body protection for classified emails.
- Earlier, email bodies classified with a label that has an EDRM policy applied would get protected by default.
- Now, Global Security Admins (GSAs) can configure whether to protect email body of classified emails.
- While configuring a label, if GSAs enable EDRM they’ll see an option to ‘Enable EDRM for Email Body’. The default value for this option will be ‘No’.
4. Enterprises can now migrate all files and emails classified with Boldon James Classifier to Seclore DAC.
- Enterprises can now migrate all files and emails classified with Boldon James Classifier to Seclore DAC.
- After migration, the Boldon James classification metadata will be replaced with Seclore DAC metadata.
- Boldon James visual markings such as header and footer will also be migrated to Seclore DAC.
- Users would need to uninstall Boldon James and install/upgrade Seclore for Windows to version 3.19.5.0 along with two additional patches.
- Admins would need to configure this feature in the ‘Component Configuration’ section of the Policy Server portal.
- Further, Boldon James classified emails can be migrated to Seclore DAC by creating a Content Policy in the Policy Server portal. This policy will detect the presence of Boldon James header/footer and suggest an appropriate DAC label to end users when they reply to or forward such emails.
5. Added an ‘Export’ button in Outlook for Windows for Seclore-protected emails. 6. Added support for One Outlook/New Outlook.
- All Seclore features available in Outlook on the web are now available in One Outlook/New Outlook.
- Seclore features in the Old Outlook desktop app remain unchanged.
