Feature of this release:
1. One-click Access for Protected Emails
- Users can now enjoy a simplified, one-click experience for opening protected emails online.
- If recipients haven't installed the Seclore agent or try to open the email outside of Outlook desktop app, they'll see the protected email body as a link. This will particularly benefit external users who often don’t have the Seclore agent installed on their devices or don’t use Outlook.
- Clicking on the link will open the email body in the Secure Email viewer, available on desktop browsers and the Seclore Mobile App.
- The link will be active for a certain number of days, which is configurable in the Policy Server portal.
- Click here for a step-by-step guide on this feature.
2. Modern UI for Secure Email
- Users accessing Seclore protected emails on a browser or mobile devices (Seclore for Android/Seclore for iOS) will now experience a redesigned UI.
- The changes aim to enhance the overall user experience by making the interface more user-friendly, with intuitive design elements and a seamless flow.
3. Automated Offline Access
- Offline access can now be enabled automatically for protected files in end user Windows desktop folders whitelisted by admins.
- Admins need to enable this feature and whitelist folder paths in the ‘Component Configuration’ section in the Policy Server portal.
- This feature removes the dependency on end users who may need to access protected files offline in air-gapped locations or during flights but forget to enable offline access beforehand.
- To enable this feature, reach out to your Seclore SPOC.
4. Enhanced Content Policies for Seclore DAC
- Admins can now configure content policies with multiple combinations of custom keywords and regular expressions.
- Admins can create content policies with multiple conditions separated with and/or operators and suggest classification labels to end users when a policy is violated.
- Click here for a step-by-step guide on this feature.
5. Flexibility in configuring Visual Markings for Seclore DAC
- When Admins enable Visual Marking for documents or emails while creating/editing a label, they can now choose to apply either Header or Footer text (or both), with one of them being mandatory.
- Admins can continue to disable header and footer for both documents and emails.
6. Improved Access Request notifications
- Access Request emails sent to file owners or users with share permission will now contain the email address of the requester along with their name.
- Earlier, such emails only contained the name of the requester, making it challenging for users to identify them.
7. Maintenance and upgrades
- Added support for Symantec DLP 16 Endpoint with Seclore for Windows version 3.19.8.0 and above.
- Apache Tomcat upgraded to version 9.0.83.

Discontinuing Support:
The Seclore product suite needs to continuously support new platforms and maintain version compatibility with a whole lot of devices and applications that inevitably get launched every year.
Unsupported software that is no longer patched and updated also carries greater security risks. It is critical for us to stop supporting such platforms and ensure that Seclore protected information is safe and secure from vulnerabilities of the underlying technology.

What does Seclore End of support date really mean?
It means that Seclore product versions released before the End of Support Date may still work, but releases after that date may not.
For example, regarding Windows XP support:
- Assuming the following release dates:
- 1-May: Seclore Desktop Client 3.8 is released.
- 30-June: End of Support for Windows XP
- 1-August: Seclore Desktop Client 3.9 is released.
- Now, on a Windows XP computer, it will still be possible to install Desktop Client 3.8
- However, it will not be possible to install Desktop Client 3.9.
- Also, existing 3.8 installations on Windows XP will not get upgraded to 3.9.
What Seclore components are no longer supported?
The End-of-Life Date for a Software Version will be 24 months from the time it becomes Generally Available. This includes all Seclore agents that are installed on end-user devices and server-side components like the Policy Server, Enterprise Application connectors, APIs and SDKs.
All upgrades and patches are provided on the latest release versions only. For more information, see our Product Lifecycle Policy.
