- EDRM for neutral/interoperable design files
- Seamlessly protect neutral CAD files via the right-click menu or the Seclore add-on for Outlook desktop.
- Neutral CAD files stored centrally in file servers or SharePoint Online and shared via email can be automatically protected.
- Control who can view, edit, print, or share these neutral CAD files.
- Get full visibility into how your neutral CAD files are being accessed and used.
- Supported formats include a wide range of industry-standard interoperable design formats including STEP, STP, DWG, DXF, IGS, IGES, JT, and X_T.
- Protected neutral CAD files are accessible using popular applications like AutoCAD, Inventor, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and the Seclore agent.

- Simplified external sharing
- Identify and authenticate users throughout your supply chain who need to access protected files.
- Enable all external users to access a protected file by sharing it with the group ‘Allow any external user to access.’
- Note: When “allow all external users” is enabled, users with domains that have been blacklisted will not be able to access a protected file unless that file has been individually shared with them.
- Seclore Digital Asset Classification (DAC) support for cloud sync files and folders
- Previously only available in the right-click menu, users can now directly apply Seclore Digital Asset Classification (DAC) labels to files while working on them in cloud sync folders.
- Classified files can be automatically protected, based on the configured policies, reducing the risk of unprotected data slipping through the cracks in your cloud environment.
- Seclore DAC support for Symantec, Forcepoint, and other endpoint DLPs
- Seclore Digital Asset Classification (DAC) can now automatically apply classification labels to files based on preconfigured policies, when sensitive content is discovered by DLP endpoint scanning tools.
- Outlook integration for protected emails
- Eliminate confusion by sending Seclore-protected emails using the native Outlook ‘send’ button in both Outlook on the Web and Outlook for Windows.

Discontinuing Support:
Seclore works tirelessly to support new platforms and maintain version compatibility with most devices and applications that are launched every year. However, unsupported software that is no longer patched carries a lot of security risks. For this reason, it is critical for Seclore to stop supporting discontinued platforms to ensure that Seclore-protected files are not vulnerable to known exploits in the underlying technology.
Discontinued Seclore Lite for Windows on 31st May 2021
With the release of Seclore 3.14 (1st June 2020) Seclore Lite for Windows was automatically upgraded to the new Seclore for Windows. Support for Seclore Lite was discontinued on 31st May 2021. If you are using an earlier version of Seclore than 3.14, please upgrade now.

What does Seclore end of support date really mean?
It means that Seclore product versions released before the end of support date may still work, but releases after that date may not.
For example, regarding Windows XP support:
- Assuming the following release dates:
- 1-May: Seclore Desktop Client 3.8 is released.
- 30-June: end of support for Windows XP
- 1-August: Seclore Desktop Client 3.9 is released.
- Now, on a Windows XP computer, it will still be possible to install
Desktop Client 3.8
- However, it will not be possible to install Desktop Client 3.9.
- Also, existing 3.8 installations on Windows XP will not get upgraded to
3.9.
What Seclore components are no longer supported?
The end-of-life date for a Software Version will be 24 months from the time it becomes Generally Available. This includes all Seclore agents that are installed on end-user devices and server-side components like the Policy Server, Enterprise Application connectors, APIs and SDKs.
All upgrades and patches are provided on the latest release versions only. For more information, see our Product Lifecycle Policy
